More about Amy Lane
I’m a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a STEM-focused primarily undergradute institution (PUI). I teach undergraduate courses in chemistry and design hands-on research experiences that enable students to discover and engineer the genetically encoded potential of bacteria to make molecules (natural products) for applications in medicine, agriculture, and other fields. The accomplishments of my research team demonstrate the potential of undergraduates for making discoveries that advance the field of chemical biology.
