Latest Updates

March 2025

• Dr. Lane presents at the Indiana Academy of Science annual meeting, sharing her team’s latest research results in a seminar entitled “Unleashing the Potential of Microorganisms as Chemists.”

December 2024

• Alex Siemer joins the Lane lab. The Lane group welcomes Alex Siemer, a first-year Biology major who joins our group as part of the competitive Rose Research Fellows program. 

• The Lane lab welcomes its first research rotation students. Three Rose-Hulman Chemistry or Biochemistry majors are trying out the Lane lab this quarter as they complete our Research Rotations (CHEM490) course. 

August 2024

• Dr. Lane moves to Rose-Hulman! After 14 years at University of North Florida, Dr. Lane is excited to join the faculty of Rose-Hulman back in her original “home” state of Indiana.
